agape dance project

For over 15 years, KAD has had to the opportunity to see hundreds of children come through the doors of KAD. Anyone who has, has definitely met Ms Joyce and knows she has a true heart for service and giving! “it’s only fitting that after 15+ years we are finally able to start an ongoing program that will prove to be just as wonderful as our Ms Joyce!

We are pleased to announce the Agape Dance Scholarship Program here at KAD. Agape (ah-gah-pay) is a Greek word that represents Jesus’ GREAT and UNCONDITIONAL love for his children. At KAD we hope to pass on that same love God has shown us to students that might not other have the opportunity to dance due to financial restraints. Our AGAPE DANCE scholarship will help off set costs for items like: tuition, costuming, shoes, or dancewear for families who cannot afford to have their children participate in dance lessons.

The love of dance has been a driving force in the success and history of KAD. Financial assistance through the Agape Dance scholarship program is available for those who qualify. Applicants are asked to meet with us to determine what level of assistance is needed as well as completing a scholarship application form. All information regarding individual scholarships will be held in strict confidence between KAD and the recipient.

Historically, 90% of the scholarship dollars annually are provided by Kristi’s Academy of Dance and PA, LLC, and are taken directly from the profits of the company.

“When I was a little girl I dreamed of becoming a dancer, but wasn’t able to due to financial limitations for my family. I’ve always wanted to be able to have a program that can somewhat help children take classes at KAD, even if it was in just a small way. This is a program that has always been on my heart and I feel very blessed that the Lord has chosen our studio as a way to spread love through dance! Praise God!”
